Il y a quelques mois en Thaïlande, j’avais passé une semaine sur cette île paradisiaque de Koh Lipe en compagnie de Sole, une chilienne de Iquique. Alors quand je lui ai dit que je venais au Chili en avril, elle m’a gentiment proposé de venir la voir à Iquique dans le Nord du Chili. Je prends donc un avion de Santiago en direction d’Iquique où Sole m’attend à l’aéroport.

Petite visite de la ville avec sa plage et ses montagnes hallucinantes tout autour: c’est simple, d’un coté c’est la mer et de l’autre les montagnes, qui sont exactement comme des dunes géantes.

Just a few months ago, in Thailand, I had spent a week on this paradise island of Koh Lipe in the company of Sole, a Chilean girl  from Iquique. So when I told her I was coming to Chile in April, she kindly offered to come to see her in Iquique, in northern Chile. So I took a plane from Santiago toward Iquique where Sole  was waiting for me at the airport.

Small tour of the city with its beach and its incredible mountains all around: it’s simple, one side is the sea and the other mountains that are exactly like giant dunes.
